Our range of saunas were created using high-quality, thick and durable Canadian hemlock spruce, which is a common material utilised for saunas. It’s a strong and sturdy material that’s resistant to cracking or splitting, and is also non-allergenic, resin-free and provides a significantly reduced scent. This reduced scent will make sure your sauna experience is not clouded by thick smells that may be experienced in some saunas made with other varieties of wood.

The use of an LED chromotherapy lightbox included inside your sauna alongside infrared technology is known as phototherapy.

EMF from our saunas is significantly below the levels generally believed to be unsafe which is often discussed above 10mg.

EMF is measured in milligauss (mg). The heating panels in our saunas have been tested between 3cm and 30cm distance from the panel. When tested at a distance of 3cm away from the heating panel, the mg result was just 2.3mg.

We offer free shipping on all Kiva Wellness products. Careful attention is taken to ensure that all deliveries are carried out as quickly and safely as possible. We hand deliver saunas between the Sunshine Coast and Coffs Harbour and use specialist heavy goods companies to deliver outside of those areas. Once delivered, assembly is straightforward and can be achieved within 30-40 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

The time your 2-person sauna will take to heat up depends on two things. First is the temperature you want to heat it to. Our Radiance 2-person infrared sauna can heat up to anywhere from 25 to 70 degrees Celcius and the higher the temperature you want, the longer it’ll take. Secondly, if you have your sauna outside and it’s a cold winter day, this will also increase the overall time. But in general it only takes about 5 minutes to heat up.

To fit four people comfortably, we recommend our Rise 4-Person infrared sauna. It’s spacious inside, measuring 165cm wide and 145cm deep and can accommodate even the tallest people at 190cm in height. Inside, there are two benches, both of which are 131.8cm in length, giving you more than enough space to seat two people on each side. Or, if there are just two of you, you can lie down and relax fully.

If you want a 4-person outdoor sauna, you don’t need to keep your Rise infrared sauna inside to use it. However, it will need to be undercover to protect it from the elements to ensure the electrical wiring is kept safe and dry. You can also purchase a sauna cover to keep yours free of dust if it is placed outside.

We recommend keeping your sauna inside if at all possible. Not only does it deliver more privacy, but it’ll also create a more ambient temperature around your 4-person infrared sauna, which will reduce the time it needs to heat up.

The Rise 4-person infrared sauna operates at 3500 Watts, coming with a 15amp plug and therefore, once assembled, can be plugged into a 15amp wall socket. Overall power usage for your sauna will vary depending on where you keep it, the temperature you’ve set it at and how long you use it for each session. While you might expect a sauna that can generate so much heat would be expensive to run, the average cost per hour is just $0.27c.

The overall time your 4-person sauna takes to heat up can vary depending on a few factors. Due to the overall space inside, it will take a little longer to heat fully in contrast with a single or 2-person sauna equivalent. The location of your 4-person sauna will also impact overall heating time. If it’s kept inside, away from cool weather, it’ll heat up more quickly than an outdoor sauna would. Finally, the temperature you’re setting it at will also impact overall heating time. The Rise 4-Person Infrared Sauna can operate anywhere between 30 and 75 degrees Celsius. The higher your temperature is, the longer it’ll take to reach your desired settings. Typically, most people operate their saunas around the 60℃ range, which for this size will take around 15-25 minutes.
